ROM. Didrachme, circa 310 - 300, Münzstätte wohl Neapolis. Kopf des Ares im korinthischen Helm nach links. Rs: Aufgezäumter Pferdekopf nach rechts, dahinter Kornähre, der Halsabschnitt als Basis, darauf ROMANO. Cr. 13/1; HN Italy 266. 6,63g. Selten. Subärat, sehr schön. Roman silver coinage which was struck between 320 and 275 BC. It was copied from the coins of Magna Graecia and inscribed ROMANO or ROMA. Their weight standard, finesse and technique suggest a production from Neapolis.
