Portuguese Colony Falcon Counterstamp Tostão ND (1582) Fine, Gomes-25.04 (Rare). The counterstamp was placed on a Henry I (1512-31) 1/2 Tostão, the combination listed as rare by Gomes. A most unusual and desirable piece given the rarely seen avion re-valuation mark.
