Tetradrachm, Panormus (zyz) circa 350-320, AR 16.96 g. Fast quadriga driven r. by charioteer holding kentron and reins; above, Nike flying l. to crown him. In exergue, hippocampus r. and zyz in Punic characters. Rev. Head Tanit l., wearing earring, dotted necklace and sphendone; around, three dolphins. SNG Lloyd 1583 (these dies). Struck on a very broad flan and with a superb iridescent tone, an almost invisible
scrape on obverse, otherwise extremely fine
