MONOGRAPHS. [Cracow] Morawiecki, Lesław with forward by Tony Hackens. The National Museum in Cracow. Catalogues of the Collection. Vol. II. Ancient Coins. 1. The Coins of the Roman Republic. Cracow 1982. 8vo (17.5x24.5cm), hardbound brown linen with impressed letters, illustrated dust jacket, frayed at top spine. 87 pages, 34 plates. Interior Very Good.
A note from BCD: One more reference book on Roman Republic issues. Unless it pleases collectors, students and scholars to add one more reference to their already overload of other references on coins, then this writer does not see the usefulness of this book. If however people undertook die studies on these coins then we would have a different situation. People working on such die studies who could not travel all over the world would greatly appreciate such publications.
