Crossed-wreath motif with two opposed crescents and four ringed-pellets at centre forming hidden faces./ Warrior on horse right, high tail, pellet under chin, TASC around. Unlike other issues of the High Tail Type (DK 502-505) which “shows the horse with a low, downward-sloping body and extended forelegs that make it look as if it had pulled up suddenly,” says John Sills, this horse (DK 506) “has a higher, level body with more angled forelegs.” Sills dies 26/46.
