Anarevito Stepping Horse. c.AD10-15. Silver minim. 8mm. 0.26g. Back-to-back crescents with pellet at each end, pellet either side, beaded border./ Horse right, foreleg and tail raised. ABC 402 (Eppillus), VA-, BMC-, DK 121, S-. Near EF, bright silver, well centred horse. EXTREMELY RARE only eight others recorded. Ex Chris Fox collection, found Springhead, Kent.

Though uninscribed, this scintillating minim was probably issued by Anarevito (‘Unforeknown’) who was probably a son of Eppillus. Anarevito was unknown until 4 September 2010, when Danny Baldock discovered a gold stater bearing his name. See ?Anarevito[s], another king in Kent, Chris Rudd List 115, p.2-3, and Ian Leins, Anarevito, in Studies in ancient coinage in honour of Andrew Burnett, 2015, p.109-118. All coins of Anarevito are unbelievably rare and hardly ever seen for sale. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one for under £1,000.
