Syracuse. Tetradrachm unsigned work by Sosion and Eumenos circa 425-413, AR 17.33 g. Fast quadriga driven l. by charioteer, holding reins; above, Nike flying r. to crown him. In exergue, two dolphins. Rev. ΣYΡΑ – ΚΟΣIO – N Head of Arethusa l., wearing ampyx, double hook earring and necklace. Around, two dolphins turning away from each other above the forehead, another one in front of the chin and the last behind the back of the neck. Rizzo pl. XLII, 3 (these dies) and pl.
