British Coins, George IV, proof five pounds, 1826, SEPTIMO, bare head l., rev. crowned shield of arms over ermine mantle (S.3797; W&R.213 [R3]), certified and graded by NGC as Proof 66* Ultra Cameo, a truly magnificent specimen exhibiting a heavily frosted portrait and shield as well as letters of the legends and digits of the date, the king’s portrait fully impressed, all set against deeply mirrored fields, producing as fine eye-appeal as may be seen; as fine an example as the cataloguer has seen in decades
