Very Fine 30
Australia Commonwealth Bank of Australia 10 Pounds ND (1925) Pick 18b R55 PMG Very Fine 30. A very elusive type, with small print totals and powerful purchasing ability during its time in circulation. The highest denomination in the series and widely sought-after therefore. Of the three signature varieties, this is certainly the most attainable, that of Riddle and Heathershaw. The paper appears quite good through the third party holder on this example, which presents an exciting opportunity to acquire a rare King George V portrait banknote. Also, of interest is the fact that this note is from the last prefix U/4 used for the issue. From the Kevin O'Hara Australian Banknote CollectionHID07501242017
