SELEUCID KINGDOM. Antiochus III the Great (222-187 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 12h). NGC Fine. "Rose" mint, perhaps Edessa, from ca. 213 BC. Diademed head of Antiochus III right, with markedly receding hairline, diadem ends falling straight behind; dotted border / BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ANT-IOXOY, Apollo seated left on omphalus, testing arrow in right hand, left hand on grounded bow to right; ΩΡ monogram to outer left, AKC monogram to outer right.
