CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Bellovaci. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Unit (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.46 g, 9 h). Celticized male head with long flowing hair to left. Rev. Human-headed fowl type gryllus to right; to right, pellet-in-ring above spiral-armed sun. DT 509. Scheers 475. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
