Wolf right, open jaws, raven perched on back, rings around./ Bull right, head facing, corded tail, ringed bar above, small pellets and rings around. ABC 267, VA 154-3, BMC 2484-86, S 176. Bears are hardly ever encountered on ancient coins. This is the only British one which definitely displays a bear (no, it’s not a wolf). The only Gaulish coin which might show a bear is a Remic potin, LT 8124, DT 155.
