Gisleham Glory. Talbot dies A/3. c.40-20 BC. Gold quarter stater. 10-13mm. 0.94g. Cruciform design with ringed-pellet at each end and four-spoked wheel in centre, teardrop motif with crossbar at top and pellets in angles, beaded border./ Globular horse right, beaded mane, pellet under tail, beaded ring above, ringed-pellet below. ABC 1492, VA−, BMC−, S−. VF/Good VF, rose gold, full horse. EXTREMELY RARE only 13 others recorded, EXCESSIVELY RARE die pair, only two others.
