CHINA. WU. Sun Quan (222-280). Graded "75" by Hua Xia Coin Grading.
cf. Hartill-11.34. 10.4 grams. Issued from the Kingdom of Wu, one of the three kingdoms that formed from the breakup at the end of the Han Dynasty. Denomination is "Large Coin Worth A Thousand". Reverse without symbols. Coin has been cleared of some of the thickest encrustations, giving high definition to the devices. Deposits of copper carbonates have left striking greens and blues in the fields. An interesting old piece that spent a great deal of time buried.
