INC Frankfurt 2027: Call for Sessions
The International Numismatic Convention is an event that numismatists around the world simply must experience at least once. That said, once you’ve been, you’ll keep coming back, because it’s an incredible feeling to see how many people share this passion. So mark your calendars now for the week of September 12–17, 2027, so you can be there in Frankfurt yourself.
Call for Sessions
Those who want to do more than just attend—who want to help shape the program—can submit a session proposal from March 1 through June 15, 2026. All sessions should last three hours, divided into two 90-minute blocks. Such a session could—quite traditionally—consist of lectures, but the organizing committee encourages participants to experiment more with new formats such as round tables and workshops. The convention is themed “Transformations and Transitions” to commemorate the 100th year of the International Numismatic Conventions. It would therefore be very fine if your session proposal were to focus on this theme. More information on how to submit proposals can be found on the convention website. Although the website is entirely in English, the session can be conducted in any of the convention languages—English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish. However, the proposal itself must be in English.
Not just for scholars!
The International Numismatic Convention was founded to bring together all areas of numismatics: scholars and museum curators, dealers, and collectors. Take advantage of this opportunity to network. For example, members of the German Numismatic Society, the Austrian Numismatic Society, the IAPN, or the Association of German Coin Dealers through their respective organizations are eligible for a discounted conference fee. A list of all members can be found on this website.
